VISAS
There are two main visa categories:
1. Immigrant visas (allowing permanent residence and work in the United States) This type of visa can usually be obtained through a family or employment relationship benefit.
2. Nonimmigrant visas (for temporary stays). Within these, there are various subcategories depending on the purpose of the trip, such as tourism, business, work, study, etc. You can apply for one without having family or employment ties in the US.

FAMILY BASED PETITIONS
American citizens ( born in the U.S. or naturalized) and permanent residents can help their immediate family members obtain immigration status in the United States, which may allow them to legally reside and work in that country.
The process begins with an application to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by completing Form I-130, which collects detailed information about the applicant and beneficiary. If you are interested in learning how to start your process, contact us. Remember that time is very crucial in these processes, so don't wait any longer.
CITIZENSHIP
American citizenship through naturalization is key to the life of anyone who wants to live without fear or uncertainty about their immigration status in the United States. It is the "ULTIMATE GOAL" in regards to immigration, because it opens a door of countless opportunities, such as the right to vote and be participant of the political life of the U.S. or being an eligible candidate for certain type of jobs that only American citizens are able to qualify for, it also greatly facilitates any immigration process in terms of time, priority, and results. It also grants the freedom to reside outside the United States without jeopardizing one's immigration status, which is very beneficial for residents of Mexico and Canada.
To apply for American Citizenship, you must meet certain requirements, including being over 18 years of age, having permanent residence status for 5 years or 3 years if married to an American citizen, demonstrating continuous residence and physical presence in the U.S., being able to write, read, and speak basic English, and passing a civics exam on the history and form of government of the U.S.

WAIVERS
Waivers are legal procedures or mechanisms that are sometimes required to complete immigration proceedings for individuals with certain grounds for inadmissibility or deportation, allowing them to obtain legal status in the United States.
There are many grounds for inadmissibility, including health, criminal, national security, potential public burden, lack of labor certification, fraud or misrepresentation of an American citizen, prior deportations, unlawful presence in the United States, and others.
Waivers are typically requested through Forms I-601 or I-601A. Waivers are complex mechanisms that must be carefully formulated and structured due to their importance. It is advisable to gather as much evidence and support as possible to help generate a favorable outcome regarding the decision made by immigration authorities when reviewing these types of procedures.
TRANSLATIONS
Document translations are a key component of the immigration process. Because the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) requires that every document not issued in English be accompanied by an accurate and certified translation, it's important to take care of these details to ensure the immigration process runs smoothly.
At IMMIGRATION SOLUTIONS, we carry out all types of translations and certification from Spanish to English for documents such as:
